If I'm being honest, I think Kenny would actually benefit from having Comolli as a sounding board, and if Comolli doesnt agree with a player Kenny wants I hope both parties can step back and look at things from each other's perspective and come to some agreement beneficial to the club as a whole.

Whilst I agree that Kenny MUST have final say, I don't agree that he must have total say.

I think one reason why we're saddled with so much rubbish in our squad is because past managers have insisted on ever more control; but at the same time a balance must be drawn and the executives cant be allowed to undermine the manager either.

Hope the club gets it right, LFC doesnt have that many second chances left.

I know this sounds blasphemous to those who remember who brought in the trio of Also,Digger and Beardo, but I also remember who brought in Nicky Tanner 🙁

Tbf I'd rather have Aquaman.
We've already got Gerrard, Shelvey, Meireles and to a lesser extent Lucas who plays in the same central midfield position. Don't think we need Adam.
I'd rather have a more mobile playmaker behind the main striker. Someone like Aquaman would be perfect imo.

dunno though, that pretty much describes frank lampard also and he's done alright for himself

If we're gonna play 3 in the middle along the lines of gerrard mascherano and alonso, then charlie adam is gonna be the play maker of the 3. Gerrard or raul could be in the more attacking role of the three to link with strikers and then lucas or spearing would cover the holding position.

I think there's a place for charlie or a player like him?

I wouldn't mind him in our team if he wasn't an automatic starter and generally didn't play in a 442. I don't think he'd be suited to it.
