I believe Adam has got the potential to be a top-notch midfielder for this club.
Not since the days of Alonso have we had a player with same range and vision (Gerrard aside) and as he's even more mobile than ol Xabi he's got something different to offer as well.
He needs to be more assured on the ball, more Alonso-esque in that area if you like, but can he continue his developments we'll have the midfield sorted for years. Am really impressed with his eye for the defense-shredding pass and his movement in general. Not so much with his sloopiness at times but Kenny will sort that out I'm sure.
Room for improvement but the signs of a real footballer is there. I really like our Adam.

She was a contestant on Miss England. I'd say she didn't make it through the early rounds. I reckon I'd get further in a Miss England comp.

Huge fan of the lad now, I was totally open minded when we signed him but have to admit his early Hollywood Adam performances had me tearing my hair out. Perhaps its Kenny's influence or the fact he now trusts the players around him are better than blackpools but he seems to have cut that from his game now. He still makes expansive passes but he picks the time to try it somewhat better.
Don't really get the Xabi comparison to be honest, reminds me more of Gary Macs playing style when he keeps it simple.

The fact is game by game he is showing that he was an absolute bargain and with each game he is proving that he is likely to be the lynch pin to our midfield for many years.

It is only generally people who are critical of him who invoke Xabi. As in, "he's never going to be a Xabi" etc.
I love Charlie's interviews too. He's much smarter than he looks, and he talks like a Liverpool player should- respectful, but with a sense that the club should be kicking ass.

As for Adam, he is without a doubt the best summer signing we made, great value for money too. I'm a big fan, he's a smart player who is always available to receive the ball, and helps us retain possession in a way which we struggled to do last season. Picks out beautiful killer balls too. Natural leader on the pitch too, I would have given him the captains armband over Reina, personally.

I thought he'd be a decent signing for us, but he's been much better than I expected. There were legitimate doubts about him because he would be asked to do a bit more here than he did at Blackpool, and there was always the risk that he was just a one season wonder given his early years were nothing to write home about.

I thought he was Ace at Blackpool and was always looking forward to him coming and we got him at a bargain price as he's easily a £20m+ Midfielder. I think its silly to compare him to Alonso, he's his own man who contributes just as much as Xabi did at his best. Quality player, good signing.
