This time last season I predicted that Andy Carroll could be a big star in the EPL and next season I think Morison could surprise a few people. He's actually remarkably similar in style to Carroll and he's particularly strong in the air. He lacks any great pace and at 28 he's hardly one for the future but considering he was playing non-league at 26 his rise has been meteoric. I think him and Grant Holt up front will prove a handful for defences because they are both good players and both always give 100%.

Ha, just thought its nice to know what's going on in the other leagues, Sunny.

Nice to hear Pesam. Would be some kind of 'fairy-tale' wouldn't it? Haven't seen him play personally. The nice thing with the promoted clubs so far is their willingness to bring in lower league talents in preparation for relegation fight. Norwich with Morison and Swansea trying to do that with Watford's Danny Graham. Its 'insurance' in a way that they get a crack at top flight football, won't be on astronomic wages and if the dreaded R word comes true, at least they go down with players capable of performing well in the Championship.

Right sided midfielder with 13 assists and 5 goals in 10/11 season. One to keep an eye on?

Swansea
Danny Graham (Watford) - £3.5million + 15% sell-on clause on any profit

It's hard to decide who'll do better in the EPL this guy or Morrison. Graham is a totally different player to Morrison, he's fairly quick, he reads the game superbly (i.e. always in the right place) and he's a better poacher of goals. I reckon they'll both get 10+ goals this season.

Morison is very strong and won't get bullied and therefore he's more likely to get 10 goals than Graham but perversely if I had to predict which if either could possibly hit 20 then it could only be Graham. I think what I'm trying to say is Morison is consistently good whereas Graham has the potential to be very good if he handles the step up in class okay.

What's going on with Wendt? Didn't you say he was on a free? Surely there is a fair bit of interest in him.

Stuttgart or Gladbach seems most likely. Perhaps his right level. I wouldn't mind him to Liverpool though on a free. A stylish LB.
