To be fair £25k for each member of the Chelsea squad is something like £15m.
But regardless, it's a great gesture. It's clear from the behind the scenes videos that Diogo was a real character, someone who will have been popular in every dressing room he's been in. And there've been lots of kind, heartfelt gestures. The Portuguese lads from United coming over to Anfield to pay a tribute, I bet they'll have done something financial too. And I'm sure they knew club loyalties would be put to one side over something like this, that we'd have welcomed them paying their respects.
I'm sure our lads will be doing their bit, hopefully for Andre Silva's family too.
