It's funny to me listening to people who care about international football. I enjoy it - when I even pay attention - precisely because I don't give a shit about it.

I want the USA to lose, then I basically just pick a random team that shouldn't be good and support them, or watch a team playing fun football (increasingly there isn't really one).

I can really get excited about it once every 4 years and it's wonderful.

I love Dom but that's a dick move and karma is a bitch.
If I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he knows he'll be absolutely knackered come May and this was the best way of getting summer off so he's fresh and ready to go again for us next season.

It's exactly how I feel about it. Games are usually shit these days so it's all about pints and bants anyway
 
Didn't stop Kevin Doyle calling Szbo a Liverpool cnt on public TV I hear though, ofcourse he is qualified Manc cnt.

Not sure if anyone has said but on one positive for our 'comeback' next season. Szobo, Kerkez & Isak are already on the list for having the summer off from the World Cup. Surely no excuse for not being absolutely flying fitness wise (Isak... 👀)

Believe me, we know we have not qualified. But this is a rare moment of joy, after a decade of disappointment, so people are delighted. And it was some comeback. Small countries think differently
 
During the opening 15min on Saturday, I was thinking that despite Szob being wasted at RB, he's the closest thing we have to a Trent, and Mo is better with a Trent behind him.

It's a bit moot since Bradley and Frimpong were supposedly not available to start, and it withered after each conceded goal.
 
Szoboszlai must play in the 8 or 10 position. He is totally wasted at RB. Just because he can play pretty much in any position (except goal) it doesn't mean he should. It's the manager's responsibility to figure out the best RB option. But to waste Dom's engine and talent at RB is criminal. The midfield and attack is not the same without him.
