We fucked every contract with the deals we handed out over the last 12 months. Others want some sort of parity.

Yep - not only did we show what we pay our 'best' with Mo & Virg by chucking 400k a week contracts out, we showed that an average player in our squad (Gakpo) can get 250k a week. Every single renewal will point to this as the benchmark. We've caused a lot of problems for ourselves here, as Szobo is much more important to this squad than Gakpo, and rightly will say he should earn more.

I am sure he wants to be at LFC. But we have to pay him properly. Right now he's on 120 K a week. Gakpo is at 200 K, Ekitike is at 280 I believe. Salah is at 400 K and VVD is at 350 K. If we don't double his wages he will be gone. Especially with possibly no CL football next year.

Rossi has not known him since he was a child. Rossi is Italian who took the Hungary job less than 8 years ago. Dom first played for Hungary in 2019 , he was already 18 years old. Rossi is full of shit.

He's arguably up for player of the season, for the whole league, not just for us. And he's only 25. There's obviously limits to what we should offer, but we should be pushing the boat out for him..

I hope other players get stories about them like this. It might mean that we win things.

He's definitely a massive highlight player, while being a dominant athletic force, and still has lots of growth in his overall play, which is more important than whether he's hitting the ball so purely it makes my dick twitch, according to the most boring people in football, and maybe reality, I don't care.

In all likelihood the only thing I'll remember from this season is a couple of his goals, hopefully how a couple of great players got started, and that it was awfully shit.
