We completely lost the midfield once Macca was subbed, I know some people here don't appreciate midfielders who have slow legs but I think Macca is a cleaver player who can link the defence with the attack, we have always had these type of players ( Molby , Whelan, Alonso) who are slow but are 2 steps ahead.

Every time we make subs in games like this we lose all form of cohesion.
I can't think of the last time we've brought subs on chasing a game and it's helped.
I agree, cos the 1st subs were wank, but Rio helped...
Our manager don't seem to understand that the most important position in the team is the center midfield, if you control the middle of the pitch you have a good chance of winning the match , the only 2 midfielders we have who are smart enough to control the play and speed of the game are Gravy and Macca , we needed more these type of players rather than spending so much on Isak and Kirkez.
I was worried we would love this and the place would implode again after a great CL away performance.

We’ve been shit for 13 months now.
We have no system, plan, tactics and for a long time have had too many players who can’t play 90 minutes with full focus & intensity.
What’s worse is that every manager of a dross team in the league has figured us out too.
We’d be no worse off putting in a caretaker manager. The club needs to make a statement that this isn’t good enough.
