We've got too many players who, while mostly technically good, all want it played to feet and slow down the play. It allows the opposition to settle back into their shape. We have no dynamism or urgency.

We spent close to half a billion on system players or players who need a specific set of circumstances to thrive. That is one Hughes and Edwards. The only one with a bit of individuality, flair, and needle is Ekitike, and no surprise, he looks the best of the lot.

Having said that, all of our signings are good on the ball. They can move the ball quickly if coached better. The pedestrian pace of our attack is negating all their strengths. That is on Slot.
