Right. The big issue I have is that he does well to ride off a challenge or make one move to buy himself time, but then waits for another challenge or tries to beat two more people.

Good job on the first bit, but all for nought, because he gets greedy.

Right! Is it fitness or do we change tactics when we get in front and it backfires every time, because subbing in fresh legs never seems to help.

It seemed obvious that he would play at RW in Salahs absence. His pace is obviously much more useful there.
