We need to get a foothold before this game runs away from us.
I think focusing on any particular player is a bit of a red herring.

Our team isn't playing any sort of decent football. We can't hold the ball, we press with energy but without any real team structure, and we are mostly aimlessly hoofing it.
Might Rio do more? Maybe.
