Gakpo again... So fucking obvious.
We're so deep and letting fucking SUNDERLAND have all the ball at Anfield. We look petrified out there and there's no doubt in my mind that this shape and style of play comes from the manager. When we do get the ball, we're playing it slow along the back as though to run down the clock and survive.

Good lord this is boring, but I mean, we aren't going to go from being a horrible team that has no structure, to playing great football.
I don't really see that happening with this team, but if it were to happen its not going to happen quickly.

Meh. I said while we were getting pumped in the last period, that we could do with more structured boring play and countenance a 0-0. This is more that way. It's not a great watch ,but it is the right sort of approach.

Or half a brain and decent eyesight.
It may not be great to watch, but I don't think it's as bad as many are making out, Wirtz and Macca could have easily scored, and I think we've been breaking through the more than them through us, and at least we haven't conceded, which is something we would have done in the past few months. Not a bad half, all depends on the second half now.
