Pre Match EPL West Ham (A) - Sun 30th Nov - 2:05pm

Stayed in my seat during HT last night watching on as Rio and Trey were balling it out to eachother, I said to the lad next to me there's fuck all point them being out there stood in the freezing cold, neither are going to see a minute on the pitch.
The camera panned to Rio a few times on the bench last night and he looked utterly fucked off. He should be, Slot's treatment of fringe players is a fucking disgrace.

I'd be fucked off too watching that. However he's 17 and I doubt he's pissed off at not being on the pitch. He wants to be of course, and may think he can do better, but he's still a baby and realises this may not be his time.
Or maybe he was hoping not to get on as he didn't want to be part of the shit show!

The counterpoint to that is the club have been very keen to say that we didn't want to block his progression.

Fucking shite gakpo plays 90 minutes regardless of performance.

We can't say we don't want to block his progression and then not give the cunt minutes.

He's stagnating and that will continue. He needs to be back down with the u21s to at least play SOME fucking football

I am more than happy to be part of team FOM. However no single attacker is in form - so there isn't really any argument for a single one of them. The minor positive Mo can bring is that he still gets double marked and that creates gaps - but the other forwards are all fucking up every half chance and big chance.
There’s always Rio

This is what the we should do, assuming Ekitike is out with a back injury for a while:

-----------------Alisson----------------
Ramsay--Gomez---VVD---Robertson
------------Endo---Gravy-------------
----Szobo------Macca------Chiesa---
------------------Isak-----------------

I know people keep arguing that Rio isn't ready, we lack any genuine pace upfront, Gakpo and Salah offer maginal threat with pace, so maybe swap in Rio for Macca and switch it around a bit. Macca has been poor lying deep, he looks off the pace defensively, so maybe this will free him up too and help get the best out of him. He looked better around the box yesterday, but was poor defensively. Szobo helps Ramsay, Chiesa is industrious too and will work his socks off, and suddenly the whole thing looks a bit more solid and technically a lot better while not sacrificing too much defensively.

-----------------Alisson----------------
Ramsay--Gomez---VVD---Robertson
------------Endo---Gravy-------------
----Szobo------Chiesa------Rio-----
------------------Isak-----------------

Alternately with Chiesa pressing in behind Isak, it gives us the opportunity to press and win the ball and play in Isak and work to his strengths.

400M and we're trying to work out whether Endo, Gomez and Rio are the going to fix things for us. What a disaster.
Yep, though to be fair, three of the expense are in the treatment room and one is ridiculously still super-unfit (surely that's on the staff?). Kerkez has been poor mind.

The drop from everyone looking incredibly fit and never injured last year to this sorry looking band of rickety pensioners is a mystery in itself

Forget the money, money doesn't buy you the grapefruits between your legs nor what they're made of.

This evidently doesn't get fixed by waiting for the talent to shine through, this gets fixed firstly by sacking the man front and center, then hiring someone who knows how to pump up his players and get the crowd onside, and showing balls.

The match threads depress me, it's like writing your Christmas list for Santa, knowing your Mum and Dad have loads of money to pick and choose whatever lavish gift they want to give you, but they're a pair of cunts and you know they'll just buy you the same shit toy from last year, and the year before, and the year before..

Hard youth Mark

Would be nice if he goes back to using gravy like he played last season more sitting in front of the back four for added protection. Don't like his new role this season at all and leaves us horribly exposed.

It's mad that towards the end of last season the system was being exposed as too open, so Slot opted to open it up even more and buy two weak fullbacks and move Gravenberch. It's that kinda basic stuff, and the dreadful results, that makes me think he hasn't got a didgeridoo.

After the subs, the players don't know where their place is. It's like strangers playing in a team. Kerkez is a good player, but now he seems to be following the wrong orders. Virgil should be manage of the entire defense, but he seems to be the most lost...

Ali and Wirtz expected to train ahead of our away defeat in the London Stadium.
