I don’t think there is much point in telling Slot what team he should pick at this juncture - West Ham could well be his last game in charge, this is like telling a death row inmate what kind of last meal he should order (I recommend a salad, sir - you really need to watch your calories!). It’s his right to go out in any way he sees fit - if he wants to go down with the Salah, Gakpo and Konate ship so be it, if he opts to make a desperate late change of formation and personnel, all the power to him. I don’t think it will ultimately make much of a difference.

Yes but if it's his last game and he still can't think of anything else to do than play the players who've let us down week after week, it says a lot about him.

Try something different. Respect West Ham, protect our backline with Gravy and Endo. Give Macca a more advanced role. If he does something like this and it doesn't work out then I'd know that he at least tried something.
