It's not quite that straightforward, I don't think. Bayern thought they had a free run and could lowball Leverkusen as a result. They could have wrapped this up some time ago really. The expectation from us and City was that he would be going there, and obviously that not happening has opened a window. City have, I think, been caught napping. It's still likeliest he'll go to Bayern but they can't pay the fee Leverkusen want, and Leverkusen want him to go this summer or to sign a new deal. Dunno. I think we have a chance.
