Frimjob

IMG-20250513-WA0022.jpg

Asked for frimpong and king kong playing ping pong with their ding dongs but Ai doesn't like drawing cocks so we got this frimjob instead.

I used to work in an office where there was a weirdo who would just sit there drawing cocks on scrap paper. Nothing else but cocks of all shapes and sizes. He didn’t last long.

This guy is going to need a song.

To the tune of 'Eleanor Rigby' by the Beatles

🎶Jeremie Frimpong,
Skips down the right in the space where the fullback should be,
Runs with such speed,
Left his man standing, defender outpaced in a heap left behind on the floor,
He's gonna score!

Bayer Leverkusen,
That's where he joined us from,
The Kopites sing his name now,
It's Jeremie Frimpong🎶

Maybe he'll score in a fucking song?

Firmino scored EVERY time! You're allowed to exaggerate a bit. Go prompt engineer more.

Or... write. That's fun too. Chat gpt is better at editing than writing.

Exciting highlights as an attacker. Some quick-takes (though many of you have a much deeper knowledge of his game than I do) :

1. That ridiculous pace (I am so happy we are going to have someone with such serious speed again) is going to do well for us in both an attacking and defensive sense.

2. His crossing and trickery are sublime (Trent who?).

3. He looks like he could easily, in many respects not all, cover Mo. during AFCON.

I'd like to know why he's considered a defensive liability. Is it because he's often at the wrong end of the field? That being the case maybe our MF and Konate would do a much better job covering for him as they have with Trent.

The outrage!

I don't even know how to use chat got, much less would use it to write a song! Pfft!!!

I fucking love a short transfer thread

If this thread gets over 10 pages before he signs he'll be a flop

I'm guessing his wage, but hypothetically, signing Frimpong for £35m on £100k/week over 5 years would cost around £61m.

Keeping Trent for 5 years on £325k/week would cost close to £85m, so that's a £24m saving just on the contract. Losing Trent for nothing is a blow, but we shouldn't underestimate how much it would have cost to keep him.

On paper, replacing him looks straightforward and comes with a sizeable saving. What matters most is what happens on the pitch, but financially, it does make losing him for nothing a bit easier to accept.

Keeping Trent for 5 years on £325k/week would cost close to £85m, so that's a £23m saving just on the contract. Losing Trent for nothing is a blow, but we shouldn't underestimate how much it would have cost to keep him.

Trent, who? from what I remember it was Robbo that took that quick corner against Barca to knock out Barca from the CL

Liverpool are ready to trigger the release clause of Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong as they close in on their first summer signing.

The 24-year-old, who can play across the right-hand side, is wanted by fellow Dutchman Arne Slot for next season's campaign and talks towards a deal have progressed in recent days.

Frimpong's release clause is understood to be in the region of 35m euros (£29.5m), with Liverpool expected to meet that figure.

If the Premier League champions can complete a swoop for the Netherlands international, it could help soften the blow of losing Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to join Real Madrid after confirming his decision to leave Anfield when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Frimpong, who came through the youth ranks at Manchester City and played for Celtic, could replace the 26-year-old Alexander-Arnold at right-back.

He has made 53 appearances in all competitions for club and country this season and played an integral role in helping Leverkusen to their first Bundesliga title in 2024.
