I laughed at this too.
I've a suspicion that the contract isnt a set amount of years playing, but rather a contract that states he'll recieve X amount whilst he's playing and as soon as he retires as a player he'll recieve Y amount in another role.
Oh look, it's Comolli, I'm surprised he could take time out of finding undervalued players and making sure to provide a logical model for player purchasing that extends beyond the whims of any one manager.
