In priority of those I want out of the door it goes Nunez, Jota and then Diaz. Even if we keep Diaz and he goes on a free next year, I’m okay with that considering he’s been on National Minumum Wage since he’s arrived.

The attack hasn't exactly done badly this season (80 goals and counting which is 14 more than next highest) with City's 99, 96 and 94 the past 3 seasons as maybe the benchmark to aim for.

Exactly. Name me another player in the premiership who would match his work rate, driven by compensating for a defending-free Salah, and still put decent numbers up whilst driving the team at times.

He works his bollocks off, never complains, is vital to the team dynamic and is the 12th highest scorer in the league….all for a relative pittance in salary to his teammates.

I find the general negative consensus on Diaz to be weird.
 
Its a shame Diaz has only got 2 more years on his deal. Could have kept him for one more season.
Now its either a new contract or sell this summer.
 
Wait a minute, are you guys actually happy to have him in our starting 11 next season? As a 9 or on the left?

I can't be the only one to think we can do alot better...
 
Is the main reason for selling him this season so that we don’t have to put up with 2 years of constant posts dribbling about why we should have cashed in rather than let him go on a free?

I know for me its because i don't believe he can go up another level, and i don't think the level he's at is consistent or overly good enough. Hes a sellable asset as we have gakpo there already, and potentially others who can play there.

If we keep him i won't care, but i'll probably still call him shite and he'll keep making me look a cunt
 
I don't find the Jota thing as hard to understand as you do, mark, as he's one of the best pure finishers I've seen in a while. It's true though that his value to us is heavily reduced by his appalling injury record and, despite rating a fit Jota as highly as I do, I wouldn't keep him in preference to Diaz.
