Absolutely - it's critical to Parma presentation that chips & salad come in separate bowls.
Too many places put the Parma on top of the chips - which makes them soggy or lump the salad on the plate then drown it in dressing which makes everything soggy.
Be honest - once the picture was taken he told you what you could do with your salad, didn't he?
