I thought his movement was good and passing was very solid – a bit cautious at first, but then he tried some more adventurous stuff and pulled it off effortlessly. The decision-making in possession was excellent 9 out of 10 times, but the other 1 was a complete WTF moment – that's just inexperience. I liked that he won the ball pretty easily whenever he decided to tackle – he is certainly not afraid to put the boot in and the only negative in this respect were some unnecessary fouls. He even started controlling the tempo of the game, particularly after Hendo went off.

Overall, he already doesn't look out of place in this team and there is clearly so much more to come. Looking forward to his next start.

What comforts me the most with Grujic is that he looks a natural talent.

He doesn't have to learn the basics he already got those checked so he can focus on developing his physique, mentality, specific areas of his game and to develop an understanding with his teammates.

A BIG upgrade on many a talent we've bought during the past 10 years.

Agree with all the above. Don't want to burden the lad with premature expectation, but I'm getting a good feeling about this signing.

He's a fantastic talent and didnt look out of place at all. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops

Klopp made these comments: .
"Marko had a wonderful debut - really good. He is a wonderfully skilled player." #lfc
"If the defensive skills had the same quality as the offensive skills he is in an outstanding place, but we are working on it." #lfc

I think it's been a while since we bought a young lad who we've pretty much unanimously all taken to straight away. His quality is obvious, the rest is just inexperience that Klopp will iron out. He's already working on him well by making him watch and learn and then force his way in. It'll come for him.

I thought it was a bit of mixed bag really- some good, some bad, some steady, which is probably all we could hope for after not playing for while.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops.
