So - how are we feeling about Bradley replacing Trent if he goes. I’m more doubtful than before.

For me, He’s great in the big games but perhaps prone to errors in the smaller ones. But maybe that’s part of his process.

Should we try to do better?

Surely you have to give him a run of games to get into some sort of rhythm and form rather than focus on rustiness on his 2nd start after being out a fair while injured?

I was just thinking that if Trent goes as expected, and we do sign Kerkez at LB, whose best attributes are energy and crossing rather than defending, I would like to have at RB someone of a very different skillset to both Trent and Bradley. I’m talking about a more defensive full-back, a Carvajal-Aszpilicueta type - a defensive leader and winner, someone who will solidify our back line and make instinctive last-ditch tackles at times when Virgil and Konate allow the opposition to play through them, as they have tended to do too often lately. I don’t have a specific name in mind, but those kinds of players are out there – hope our data boys don’t just look at speed and athleticism, but have a way of measuring football IQ and leadership.

Should Steph be given a chance to challenge Conor for RB? The guy is made of glass and cannot be relied upon to stay fit. Steph has played there before and it looks like we are looking for a #6 any way

Bradders and (I've come around to the idea because of the zero fee for a more defensive RB) Aina will do just fine for me.
