Has Borini got a future with us?

he has good movement and workrate but lacks just about everything else, i like him but dont see him being any good for us

Yeah he's a finisher, problem is, I think Rodgers expects more from our strikers.

I am ready to keep him because he is brilliant option to have in case one of the main strikers gets injured...btw BR also expects to finish the chances someone else creates

take that you fuc'haters

12M or whatever it is we paid for him is a lot to pay for "good movement".

As things stand he's not going be played up front as some fox in the box and when you look at what we have out wide or consider what we could have out wide then I'm not sure how he fits in.

Can't see why he can't be a squad option for us. We probably won't recoup 12m, so wouldnt mind seeing him coming off the bench or as backup .

Thought he did quite well for the goal, shame he was caught offside for the other one. He's a good likeable lad with great spirit and passion for the game, he's great to watch for that alone. After all the bad luck he's had, it'd be great to see him resurrect his career with us, it'll be difficult though.

I've no idea if he'll come good but I fucking love the lad as well as public transportation. Count me in

Owen called his goal scruffy but I thought it was anything but. A great composed finish.

Considering how shite Sunderland are I'm impressed he's even got 5.

He's definitely good enough to give us cover.

The Taw show last night had a Sunderland fan on who was saying the player we'll get back is much improved.

That playing regularly has really helped him adjust to the league & make an impact in games, & that cos he's not playing with great players like we have, that it's meant he's learnt how to create space for himself too.

Well it's certainly a win a win for us. If nothing else he'll drive his price up.

He won't cut it at Anfield though I don't think. He seems to lack the confidence you need to succeed at a big club.

Hopefully offer silly money to keep him in the summer.

Glad for the lad. Would do his confidence lots of good and should help keep his place in the starting XI.

He looks a dangerous outlet.

This is why I don't get people's negativity towards him.

He tries, he gets in great positions and he's young.

He barely got a chance with us, and if this season has shown us anything, It's that he might actually take it

yeah this is probably as good as i've seen him play . He's keeping possession well and skillfully , he works hard and has some good fight about him . Plus he's surprised me with his pace , guess he's back up to speed .

If he could do that for us while being a squad player and sub he could be useful but again some (most ? ) need to be playing regularly to get up to this form .
