Serious and non-serious answers welcomed!

How would you get rid of 'em?

I reckon we need a few portfolios, similar to what Owen had.

How would Poulsen's read?

make suarez play with a jovanovic/cole/aqualani etc mask on so people think fking hell jovanovic/cole/aqualani is looking a proper player these days, how much do you want for him?

alternatively, Hitman Monkey:

Which players fall into this category?

Jones
Degen
Soto
Darby
Konchesky
Insua
El Zhar
Poulsen
Aquilani
Joe Cole
Jovanovic
N'gog

Then possible loan deals for Wilson, Shelvey, and Pacheco.

Just the 15 players. Good grief.

13 players with an estimated wage bill of 30 million a year according to the papers..

thats some serious paying out of contracts we may need to do... Works out @ 45,000 a week per player

HOW THE FUCK!!!!

Arrange a friendly match involving just them & have the coach be chased down the tunnel by some paparazzi.

Big crash, boom, all dead, insurance kicks in, nice payout, no-one will suspect a thing.

Sorted.

Ha, so death is everyone's preference.

I was thinking of giving them so inter-rail tickets and tell them to travel around Europe until they find a club as stupid as we are.
How is that going to work? We'd be paying for rail tickets for the next 30 years.

It won't take Rafa that long to get a job.

Give them away free and make the savings of wages over a whole season. That should be significant.

Alternatively come to an agreement on compensation.

If we can't shift them before the transfer window then some of them should be brought in from the cold. Cole and Jove weren't given a run for any length of time. If were are paying them we may as well use them. Paying players tens of thousands of pounds makes perfect sense. As for the future, ffs stop giving older players long contracts.

what we could do is find there individual best bits on you tube and post them to every pro football team in europe.. No? ok next suggestion

their age wouldn't matter if they were any good.
Absolutely. People make too big an issue of players age in modern football. It's as if every player has to be 25 or under or else their legs are gone. Utter bullshit.

Some of the players listed haven't been given games enough to conclusively prove they are rubbish.

Jovanovic is arguably one, primarily a striker with Liege but played almost exclusively in his stand-in position of LW for us.

But he's a case in point for my previous post. If the management had rated him as a striker, wouldn't they have given him more opportunities there, especially when we've been so short of them?

Aqua for instance, we're desperate to fuck him off and replace him with Adam, despite not giving aqua a good run in the side. maybe as judge said though, he may be shit in training. I also add Jove and cole to the list, sure they haven't pulled up trees but they haven't played that much. If shocking to think the amount of money we are pissing away to have these players sit in the stands, it would be cheaper to hire a hit man to take them out.

I think one option is exemplified by the Diego for Jovanovic+cash rumour. Basically, we scan the European leagues for other clubs' lemons and offer to swap them for our lemons in the hope that we'll be able to make nicer lemonade with one of the new lemons than with our current ones.

Some contracts we eat:
Degen

Some we pay off part of the contract, and sell:
Joe Cole, Jovanovic

Some we sell in a firesale:
Jones, Konchesky, Poulsen

Some we won't really have problems selling at market value (which will be low anyway):
N'gog, Darby, Insua, El Zhar

Some we don't know what to do with:
Aquilani

They've done well so far though.
