Your over reacting, can't help but get the impression you have been waiting for a bad result like this just so that you can vent.

For what its worth i thought he inherited a complete mess, the team/squad was in freefall with no direction and seemingly no passion or care in the world what was going on, the last half a season was pure relegation form. 17 points from the last 18/19 games i think it was, Rodgers has done a good job in the 18 months since that, thats not to say he isn't making mistakes though, he is but he seems the type to realise them and sort them out.

Mancs are the key for us, forget City, Chelsea and Arsenal, we have to stay with those Mancs if we hope to get top 4, they are the weak link.

And Spurs and Everton, its going to be tough enough to get in the top 4 as it is, I think that's why we are all so very disappointed because deep down we know we have to win these matches to get into the cl.

Yeah, just think if we finish above Man Utd that will be enough, Spurs will fuck up to much probably like we will, Everton do look good thanks to their free 25 million quid striker, takes the piss that.

Well, that's definitely "the end of the beginning" in the Brendan Rodgers era; spunking a load of money, making all those quotes you posted earlier about all our improvements, then falling back on the "squad not big enough" excuse when we've been battered by a team of journeymen. It's bullshit and I really feel things could begin to unravel for him quite rapidly soon; we've 6 months left before Suarez leaves, Gerrard can only get worse, we've no stability or reliability at the back and a shockingly weak midfield, despite all the signings. He's going to have to get the next few moves right.

Summed up nicely, lets hope he reads the forums and gets the message because he's got one window to sort it out. Finding a replacement for Suarez and Gerrard ain't going to be easy, at least we will have some cash when Suarez leaves. He must sort our midfield out in Jan.

I've been wondering if Gerrard might retire after the World Cup if we haven't got back into the CL. Without that I can't see any point in him continuing to play really; his legend will diminish if he keeps strolling about doing not-very-much-at-all and if we aren't in the CL then we had a poor season and, without Suarez, will surely face a worse one next year.

I warn you though - I'm probably the 6CM's poster who knows the least about football. Cooking, Movies and Cricket is more my bag. Better you heard it from me first. 😗
