International week is awful. It's a bank holiday over here and I have the option of watching England v Malta or Norway v Azerbaijan. Canada crashed out of qualifying a few weeks ago and this is just a waste of a Saturday morning.

Apparently Lingard showed his quality at international level, but Walcott seemed tentative and didn't impress enough 'at this level'

Very underwhelmed with Denmark's performance last night. First half was just amateurish. Eriksen poor for most of the game and the Danes never quite understood to handle Poland's counter-attacking approach.
Oh and Lewandowski proved once again what a phenomenal striker he is. 3 chances three goals. Wonderful player.
@Modo Delaney only got the last 10 minutes.
He was terrible. Passing sideways, running backwards being the main theme of his midfield activities. He was trying to be Gerrard-esque in picking out runners, but only with less accuracy and in slow motion.
If he is the best "deep lying" midfielder Englund has you guys might as well skip the World cup.
Oh he was totally mediocre, yeah.
I just don't understand booing a player during a match, when he plays for the team you have turned up to support.
Well that's Milner, but I doubt he'll be first choice for the world cup...

CONCACAF is considering a switch to their qualifying format. Long overdue. Only 6 teams remaining out of 35 or so, despite 2 years left to go. Ridiculous system.
