Dunphey just claimed if we'd played for the full 90 mins how we did in the last 20 we'd have won.

He seriously did.

Before the game they were talking about how we were a "championship" side. After the game they're slagging off the manager because we only drew away to the world champions. Fucking muppets!

Delighted for John O' Shea. I celebrated all over my sitting room when he scored.

I say if you don't your own foreign policy, you are not allowed into FIFA. Two many non countries, and tiny protectorates that are really wee satellites. Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland. If you can't be arsed to be independent, go play for uncle roy.

Also, Bye bye San Marino, Lichtenstein, Faroes, Andorra, Gibraltar - as well as Georgia, Moldova, Israel and the non European countries in UEFA. At best they should be playing pre qualifiers.

Yes, if we do that the goal of eternal Irish qualification will be achieved.

Fuck off.

Great to see the other British and Irish teams doing well.

Ireland and Scotland have been unlucky with that group, though.

I can't praise Scotland cos I'm still smarting that 45% wanted to fuck off. If that reduces to below 35% then I'll reconsider my position.

Someone somewhere thought these two playing each other was a good idea. Oh, and Albania and Serbia probably shouldn't have either.

Shocking scenes. Riot police were unprepared when the Albanian team were entering the tunnel.

Believe it or not - the brother of the Albanian Prime Minister started a drone from his VIP box which carried a flag on which a map of a 'Great-Albanian' state and flew it over the pitch.

Unbelievable.

And yet pretty cool as madcap ideas go.

Amazing what a Firebox voucher does to some men.
