They went shite after he left.. and it took them 8 years to win something..
They were already shit when he left, they performed much better to start next season and Fabregas came to the fore.
Also you're a moron (not because of this specifically, just in general), man said it himself:

Fabregas was right about me, says Henry
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has admitted his presence in the Gunners line-up towards the end of his spell with the club sometimes proved more of a hindrance than a help.
Midfielder Cesc Fabregas recently suggested some players were inhibited playing alongside the France forward.
And Barcelona star Henry accepts that was the case.
'I agreed with them completely,' he said of Fabregas' comments.
He added in the
Sunday Telegraph: '
Because of my seniority, the fact that I was captain and my habit of screaming for the ball, they would sometimes give it to me even when I was not in the best position. So in that sense it was good for the team that I moved on.'
And Henry admits he cannot wait to eclipse Michel Platini in the record books.
Henry's goal in France's 6-0 win over the Faroe Islands on Saturday pulled him level on 41 goals with Platini whose record haul for Les Bleus came in 72 games.
Henry has taken 95 matches to accumulate his goals but is already looking forward to breaking the record - with his first chance coming on Wednesday against Lithuania at Nantes.
Henry told
L'Equipe: 'It will be amazing to overtake a player like Platini. For the time being, I am equal to him, so there is therefore another step to take, for me and for the team in general. We will try to do it against Lithuania.'
Henry does not mind if the goal comes against Lithuania or against more fabled opponents.
He said: 'Whatever context I do it in (break Platini's record), it will be a pleasure. You can always say, 'yes, it's the Faroes, it's easy'. But their last match showed it is not.'
The Faroes had been unlucky to lose 2-1 to World Cup winners Italy in their previous home qualifier.
Barcelona forward Henry, 30, believes consistency is the key attribute for aspiring record-breakers.
He said: 'What is important is being consistent. And it turns out that when you are consistent, you end up breaking records. You have to be there all the time.'
