Haven't seen a thread for all the day-to-day links and deals (if there will be any) for this glorious month so here goes.

I'll start. There's rumours abound tonight that we've agreed deals for Elia and Van Wolfswinkel.

LINKS IN:

Suarez from Ajax
Thomas McCann Donegal Celtic
Steven Warnock Aston Villa
Alex Chamberlain Southampton
Mark Van Bommell Bayern Munich
Stewart Downing Aston Villa
Charlie Adam Blackpool
Alvaro Negredo Sevilla
Shaun Wright Phillips - Manchester City

LINKS OUT:

Ryan Babel Ajax (FUCK OFF)

Quotes and/or links please.

Someone on TLW quoting a source close to Comolli (via twitter). Or something.

Aren't we also odds on to sign Marveaux any time now?

Something about a bid for Gervinho too?

How about leavers (besides the manager)?

Jovanovic seems likely, maybe Konchesky too?

We seem unable to get rid of Babel and Lucas 🙁

Jorge Fucile insists he is concentrating on his career at Porto amid ongoing reports of a winter transfer window bid from Liverpool.

Anfield manager Roy Hodgson was first linked with a £7million offer for the versatile full-back, who can play on the right or left, in the summer.

Fucile has been earning excellent reviews at Porto and he also featured in five matches as Uruguay finished fourth at the 2010 World Cup finals.

Speculation is suggesting Hodgson will renew his interest in the 26-year-old in January due to concerns over the reliability of Glen Johnsonand Paul Konchesky.

But Fucile is quoted as saying in the Portuguese media: "I am under contract at Porto and my focus is here."

Porto, who have reached the knockout stages of the Europa League, are not actively looking to sell, but they admit they will not instantly dismiss an approach for Fucile.

"It is not our intention to sell, but it is normal that we will study offers if they arrive," directors of the Portuguese club are credited as saying.

They better do a thorough medical on Rip van Winkle. We don't want to be signing another stretcher case.

"@empireofthekop: RT @Arun_Chowdhury: Elijero Elia and Wolfswinkel has agreed to join Liverpool according to a very very close source to Damien Comoli"

"Any deal, though, would depend on whether Ryan Babel can be sold or offered as part of a deal in order to obtain his counterpart, who would cost around the £14M mark."

That'll do then.

Isn't Wolfswinkel out for the rest of the season though?

We need some players that can come in immediately too.

Does empireofthekop have a track record ?

Or are people just believing what they want from Twitter ?

Fit by the start of feb apparently?

Villareal being linked to Lucas in the Mirror.

Seems a bit crap as they quote Lucas's fee when we bought him at 12.7 mill

He is very tweet happy and just posts all rumours he hears, so anything he puts up should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Euros maybe?
£5m was about €7.25 at the time we bought him.

I've not seen Elia play for quite a while, but thought he was a very exciting player at the time. At the sort of prices being mentioned, I'd love for us to sign him.

£15 mill.is too high for a straight cash deal IMO. If they take Babel in part-ex that might be different, depending on how much we'd still have to pay.

Julio Baptista has gone to Malaga. Thats all I know.. ;D
The Qatari Sheik has been true to his words towards Pellegrini it seems. Demichelis, Camacho, Asenjo, Baptista and apparently Ziegler soon to follow.

They need it though, or else its bye bye La Liga. Good to see Malaga getting a decent team, I'm usually holidaying there so maybe there can be a decent game to watch aswell..
