Job security - arne

Has Slot lost the dressing room? Why doesn't he play Rio and Chiesa more who are both wingers? The City game was always going to be difficult but we were at 6s and 7s. The ref didn't help with his decision making. Slot can get his old #1 back and see if that helps.
Honestly, to the naked eye - no but i do believe these guy's don't really rate him or believe in what he is trying to do.
He's losing the room and will lose it by Christmas

I think Klopp probably did have players who he fell out with and who he didn't play very much. He had his favourites as well. Difference is that this only really matters when you're not winning.
He didn't leave the young players to rot on the bench though. He'd never do Rio and Nyoni like that and Chiesa

Easier said than done. If he were to play one of the youngsters and we lost 3-0 it will be another wave of why didn't he play X and Y instead of the inexperience youngster blah blah.

Ultimately his head is on the line and if he doesn't get wins regardless of who he plays he will pay with his job.

Carvalho, Shaqiri and Minamino are on the line and would like a word..
Fabio is a very good example. I don't think he'd do Rio and Trey like that considering thier ages.
Btw, not saying Klopp is a saint but the way he has Actually done Fede, you would think, Fede banged his wife! Its clear he's a bad man-manager

Slot's a bellend and he seems to revel in being a bellend too, which makes him an even bigger bellend. Beginning to dislike him more than Arteta.

Fabio didn't get more opportunities due to disciplinary issues and acting infantile, even then in his first season still made 21 appearances for the club.

Arne comes in and what does he do? Fucks him off after pre-season like he has pretty much every young player to date, Nyoni and Rio won't be far behind once they see through this prick.

i see he’s moaning about tactics and city having too many players centrally. imagine we had a wide threat like a tricky south american one, who forced the opposition to double up on him.

could’ve sworn slot said he spent last season evaluating things before acting

Salah's lack of defensive duties was so noticeable yesterday. Every time City attacked down our right Salah wasnt even in the screen frame. There was just a gaping hole in front of Bradley.

If you're away at City, the very least you can do as an opposition manager is protect your back 4 as much as you can.

In Klopp's system Salah could afford to stay high, because Klopp threw 3 workhorses flat across the middle.

In this system Szobo is at 10, which leaves Gravy and Macca with a huge width of the pitch to cover. No wonder we get opened up easier than Bonnie Blue's legs.

If Salah cant be dropped for some reason, then he needs to play up front, or we need to switch to a 4-4-2 so that someone can play on the right who actually puts in a shift.

It is nearly time to put up the klopp signal and beg him to come back until the end of the season at least, and i was in the give him until the end of the season camp. Yesterday's performance was unacceptable. It was the same team that beat Madrid.

I AM SCREAMING LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I don't rate Salah anywhere near as highly as others do, clearly. There's other forwards I have enjoyed watching far more with far more technical ability. I'm sick of watching him now and I'm sick of our idea of football being defined around him, when he's mostly not very good.

But he has got more out of his ability through application than most players, he's got every god damn drop of it, and there's plenty to look back on and enjoy. I just wish I wasn't doing it while watching the husk of Salah shamble around searching for a bit of magic.

If you bench him, selling him and him moping will happen regardless.
He was benched in 18/19 and 23/24 at times, bench him, hold him accountable. Show him footage of the number of times he decided not to pass to Wirtz because he's insecure of Isak & Wirtz taking over the team and then tell him, to hold bench because you haven't seen any improvements. If he wants to mope about that, he's not a team player

Yeah, he's not a team player.

There's also a possibility that he makes an instinctual decision in a split second, which can often go wrong, but can also lead to being an all time great goalscorer and provider when it goes right.

yup i was comparing him to amorim earlier today. maybe slot does have this fantastic all conquering fullback width, wirtz supplying two strikers system in mind but he’s going to have to last long enough to implement it.

which is something like the amorim situation with his wingbacks or whatever except united were dogshit when he took over and slot was dropped into the best situation a coach could hope for.

— Liverpool over the last (7) matches in domestic competitions:
3-0 loss to Manchester City
2-0 win against Aston Villa
3-0 loss to Crystal Palace
3-2 loss to Brentford
2-1 loss to Manchester United
2-1 loss to Chelsea
2-1 loss to Crystal Palace

One premier league win in two months!
But ''GIVE HIM TIME''. He won the league last season. You guys are idiots and Slot is a terrorist
Don't let me bring up our form in 2025 as a whole

Can you imagine if we wasn't scoring those late goals in the first 5-8 games LOL.
This football club is insane for not sacking him
