Those losses though were 100% on slot, the same issues that we saw in that preseason friendly agsinst Milan were still there against Brentford 5 months ago which means they weren't addressed properly. Yes you can say that new players need time to fit it but they way we were getting caught out by one long ball over the top was as evident against Milan as it was against Brentford so time will tell if it has been addressed..
If I was pep, I'd be doing that against us on Sunday

i don’t want to sound like a slot basher here but what has he actually done here to arrest the slide? it looks a lot like he has just walked back his changes, so surely there’s still some concern.

that being said i’m glad he has responded and gotten an improvement from the squad. maybe he simply tried too much too soon and has learned something about himself, his squad and the PL.
