This is the most inexplicably bad we've looked for me, in my footballing life. I've seen some shit teams but if you read the names, the smell of shit comes off the page, it isn't surprising in the least bit.
I don't think our team is perfectly balanced or brilliant or anything. I didn't think that last year, the league is just dogshit.
We look horrifically coached. We are so often neither doing one thing nor another and getting ass fucked by teams doing exactly what I would tell you they are going to do.

It's genuinely not that daft though, is it? It's probably Leicester. But they have an excuse. They're fucking Leicester. How many other defending Champions have been this bad? No wonder everyone thinks you're a Manc.
Leicester finished 12th, we're currently 11th. Will see how it plays out, but it's much more of a question that if it's out worst title defence, which it most certainly is, in recent memory anyway.
Oh well, at least we've won the title, most teams haven't...😛

I was in the "give him until Christmas camp". I saw this run of fixtures we're on now after the international break and thought this would be a good test to see if he is a bald fraud or not. Really, we should be looking to win all 5. But what I was really looking for was some discernable plan, a hint he knew what he was doing and progression in the right direction.
But nope. Even worse. At least he was honest with not knowing how to deal with a low block and direct football.
As Farky (I think) said more eloquently than I will, the longer he's here, the worse we're getting. I actually disagree with those blaming the summer signings. I actually think they were good signings, all good players. The issue is the manager not having a clue how to use them or anyone else in the squad for that matter.
Everyone has regressed. We go behind in every game and spend the rest of the match chasing the result. We never play well. The players are getting worse. We look slow and ponderous in attack, and up the wall at the back. There's no discernible pattern of play, there's no tactical nous or adapting to a game beside "lump another striker on".
Maybe Jota's death had an impact. But we were shite long before that and it doesn't explain the tactics - or lack thereof.
Fuck waiting until Christmas. Get him gone now. He's a dud.
