Yes, obviously. The only difference being 8 years of age, Enrique playing for a Spanish top team before moving to England and being touted as the next left back in the Spanish national team. 4 years playing for Newcastle is obviously the same as Lucas Neills career. No doubt about that.

I warned him. Let it go, I said. You're acting like a loon, I said.
Now Hansen had to come in and destroy your argument in every sense of the word.

You pair couldn't "destroy" your fucking lunch, so spare me. Modo, while I'm at it; you're garnering Dreamy-like levels of respect around here these days, so keep the warnings to yourself you delirious gimp.
Now, here I go:
"A top Spanish team" - He was deemed not good enough for one single appearance at Valencia, before being shipped out to the mighty Celta Vigo on loan, where after no more than a whopping 15 appearances he found his way to Villareal that "top Spanish team".
"being touted as the next left back in the Spanish team" - So, he's not actually playing for them, he's being "touted". Do you want an example of a 'tout? "Hayden Mullins could play for England" - that's a tout. Exactly.
Neill on the other hand, captains his country. Australia it may be, but given he's played at the last two world cups, and is chosen to lead the team ahead of Cahill, Kewell, Schwarzer and plenty of other candidates, it's safe to say he's proven his international credentials. Unlike Jose, who's being "touted".
"4 years playing for Newcastle" - Ah yes, those glorious 4 years. Let's have a look at them shall we? 2007 - 13th, 2008 - 12th, 2009 - relegated, 2010 - in the Championship. So essentially, two decent club seasons back in '07 & '08... Except... After signing in '07 he wasn't played was he? Nope. He was so fucking shite in his first season that Charles N'Zogbia, a left winger was picked at left-back ahead of him.
So to sum up; he's played well in the Championship. And might play for his country.
"Destroy" that.
