Do'nt know how well he is known currently for his management or historically as a player for Spurs. I remember him as a very talented forward thinking player for Spurs who was very focussed on the game. Seemed to have a good sense of humour and was a handfull when we played Spurs

Very sad to hear he has passed.

I met him with Ian Dowie and Dennis Wise in Dubai many moons ago, seemed like a decent chap. Heart attacks and footballers, too many!
