I remember him talking (lying) about what a cracking group of players it was. He then dismantled everything and replaced everyone with someone better. Except milner and origi as squaddies, and I think you could argue they contributed just a bit.

Joe Gomez still here is amazing he’s shown such longevity considering his biggest Achilles heel has been injuries. He must be the most durable yet breakable player ever.
 
Actually he didn’t dismantle Lallana either. He loved Banana and didn’t replace him until his body completely gave up the ghost on the pressing game. So that’s half the team.
