Kop Grandstand tickets for Sunday

Hey guys, quick question for any anfield regulars.

I purchased 2 kop grandstand tickets for sundays game and received back in the post an lfc members card under someone else's name.

How do i know this is valid for this season, and when i turn up how do they check the validity for the game...

If somebody could get back to me quick on this one that would be of great help

The stewards outside carry around a machine that scans your card.

Where did you buy it? The card will give you access to the ground. Did he forward you on seat details too? Also if you bought two tickets (cards) you need two members cards.

I did get two cards.

They have the seat numbers and rows n everything.

Thing is, would the member have had to activate anything for the game or is literally just a scan and then entry...is there anyway they can ask for ID to confirm identity etc...

Did he give you a print out for the seat numbers etc? Check if the membership numbers on the card match the numbers on the print out of the seat info.

Once the ticket is purchased the club activates the cards. You swipe card at the turnstile on the way in.

I don't have any printouts, literally got the lfc holder with the two memberships cards under 1 persons name. Also it doesn't say which season the card is, I'm guessing this just rolls over from season to the next.

Yeah I've the same card with years. How do you know what seat is yours? Where is the seat information? They prob won't ask you for ID man. Just scan at the turnstile and copy the person in front of you.

It says the seat number, turnstile, row etc on the card....

Yeh should be ok, I was just weary because there is no refunds if I am refused entry...

Oh does it. Maybe that's a season ticket. It's not on my lowly members card. Hopefully you'll be fine and breeze in no hassles.

I've never heard of that site so can't comment on it. Don't like tout sites myself personally.

You'll be fine I'm sure. Did this a few seasons ago for a Dortmund game. Got the chaps season card with all info on, scanned it, then had to return it at the end of the game to a recognised Dortmund fan who was in control of season ticket/cards sold for those that couldn't attend. Failure to hand card back in meant a €500 charge as they had your card details.

Sounds similar to this I reckon.
