Happy with the news, not many better back up options around than him who'd be happy to sit around and wait for his chances.

None of the kids at LB are gonna make it, even as back up options...Larouci was a better talent then all 3 and he never came close. They will need to start looking for regular football down the chain from next summer you'd have thought with the exception of Scanlon who can fill in for the u21s for another season or 2.

Robertson suffered a shoulder dislocation in action for Scotland against Spain last week.

The left-back is now having the injury assessed and there is pessimism inside Anfield over the pending results.

The Times says Reds medical chiefs believe Robertson could be out of action for four months if worst fears are confirmed.
