Basically I like Kuyt and its obvious he works hard and runs around loads.
The problem was last season he had to drop off loads and ended up in the midfield area helping to defend, as opposed to going towards the goal and poaching in the goals.
The hope we have this season is Rafa decides to push forward and loosen the shackles, this means that Kuyt will be the one heading up the attack witk Torres helping to set him up etc.
We have to look at where Kuyt played when he was in Holland as he was in a different role last season for LFC.

I'm glad we don't just ban people willy nilly. I can be a cnut sometimes, and I'm glad I'm still allowed here.
But when idiots like him appear and refuse to add any value whatsoever, AND their put-downs are just rubbish too, then there can't be any other solution than just casting them out beyond the city walls where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

I believe the difference in finishing ability between Kuyt and these players is massive.
They're his top 10 from Holland - I think they prove that he needs a lot of space. There's some clumsy goals in there - and there shouldn't be any in the top 10 of a player that has scored so many.

As far as I'm concerned, we need this level of finishing quality from one of our strikers. I'm really pleased about Torres, but I don't think Kuyt is enough as a partner for him; Torres should be given the free-role, and we should get a poacher (Huntelaar) to play instead of Kuyt.
I believe the difference in finishing ability between Kuyt and these players is massive.
