The board are going to block it by virtue of basic arithmatic.

We'll be bought at cost of repaying the loan by some similar types in a week or two and that'll be that.

I've heard the news tonight about Hicks. I'm fucking devastated. I can't even be arsed posting now. I hope to God it's untrue but my gut tells me it is. RIP Liverpool FC. Tom Hicks - I hope you die a slow painful death. Cunt. I fucking HATE you.

Whats the point in him doing this? Nobody has shown an interest in buying us at a price that would offer him a profit, so why would they suddenly do so in 6/12 months time with yet more debt building up?

Fuck any misgivings abut SoS, something needs to be done, even if it's "just" protesting.

I doubt he genuinely entertains any such hopes now, mate. My guess is that, if he does hang on (please God, don't let this happen), he's betting the bank on the upcoming TV deal.
