Wouldn't be a bad thing at all if Anfield could be redeveloped. I think the main worry about a new stadium is that it couldn't recreate the atmosphere generated at the current stadium.

Anfield could probably be redeveloped providing they threw enough money at it, or spoke to new contractors.

i really hope this is the way they go. tradition and heritage matter, we should never forget that.

I give Broughton his due, he has this assurance and authority about him and seems protective of his reputation. If He says keep the faith and that they are good owners, I'm inclined to if not trust him, then give him the benefit of the doubt. He's played H&G like a consummate professional.

You think we're going to make more than an additional thirty million a year? That's another 1.5m per league game... so we have 15,000 more seats. So that's an average 100 quid more per new seat, or 25 quid more per all 60k seats, and that's filling it, just to break even. OK, say we sell another 20 boxes a game for an extra 5000 a box... it's bugger all, an extra 100,000 per match. Pissing in the wind. Just to break even we'd have to sell out and bump the tickets at least 20 quid on average.

When they where orignally talking about building the new ground, moores and parry checked how viable it would be to redevlop anfield and they found that it would be more costly to redvelop than just building a new ground.

Bernie Mullins on SSN thinks there is a danger that NESV is looking to flip Liverpool.
Thatwould be really shity, in which case I doubt they'd care aboutho shitty Hdgson is doing.
