Nice swan .

When I looked again I thought it had been deleted. Cue an onset of paranoia.

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

I remember reading this thread earlier; and I thought that it was terrible what Liam was going through.

But 'more important than football'?

Fuck that.

Tomorrow we play our biggest game of the season.

Today I found out that one of my close friends (who's a Red) has cancer, and they aren't sure how bad it is till he gets his results on Friday.

I found out from his brother, who's a close friend too (and he's a Manc)

He's distraught, of course..although his brother seems to be holding up better than I thought.

The Manc is no longer interested in the outcome of tonight's match, tho his brother still thinks we're going to Moscow.

Anyway, I just want to say that I hope my friend recovers.

And no matter what happens at Stamford Bridge, we will recover.

No more doom and gloom from me.

And I understand this thread better now, I wish it didn't take this piece of news for it to appen.

I'm going to get myself checked out soon.

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

Does anyone know if Liam is still alive? I haven't seen any things about it since the major article ...

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

Christ, it's hard to read about that wee lad without getting a large lump in the throat.

At least his family seem to have been genuinely comforted by the sympathy of Liverpool fans.

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

Seeing as we couldn't win the cup ... maybe if one of the players is injured and not needed at the weekend, Torres for example... go and visit the lad.

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

My friend's going for treatment in Vienna and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info about the hospital.

Re: Why Liam Harker won't walk alone

Aaaah... I thought you got your threads confused.
