Well, you say players are selfish and will "leave a sinking ship", I think a little more highly of gerrard and Torres - both stayed with their boyhood clubs much longer than they needed to.
it would be better to be shellfish if you're leaving a sinking ship, no?
AHAHAHAHAH

I have the mussels to make a go of it.

Rafa has spent £106m net over the last five years?

Madrid spent £85m on one player last year. And £56m on another. And £30m on another etc.

I am not amused at this news.

that is true but in the case of torres, we aren't his boyhood club, he left them in the first place to challenge for silverware and in the case of gerrard he is 30 and may feel he has done enough of carrying the club on his shoulders. its all speculation but as I said imho its more likely they'll go than stay.

This is the best I could do I'm afraid.

ALL football players are, wait and see. I don't believe for one second they have anything to do with this but many will be thinking of their futures especially when Madrid start spunking their 200 million euro budget

There you go again, "wait and see". You'd fucking love it if we lost all our best players and slipped down the league - from the dizzying heights of 7th, it's quite a fall.

So good we'll be in the Champions League without having qualified for it this season? Whoosh for me?

Let's not worry then .... We are LFC after all! The yanks are a godsend and I'm sure the crippling debts won't make us less attractive to ... To ... Well fuck knows but let's hope they've got a good track record eh... Superb stuff.

No i wouldnt you fool but I think it's a lot more likely if they get rid of Benitez, bring in a Yes man and then accept big offers for the big players OR the big players decide the game is up and force the issue, these are possibilities that some people dont think about and instead compare us to Chelsea when Mourinho left but one difference is they still have Abramocunt who is woth 7 billion pounds chucking money at transfers, wages and top managerial replacements
Don't call me a fool, you resident lunatic.

Just because they've sacked him doesn't mean they're doing it to bring in a yes man. What would be the point? They are business men, they don't want the club riddled with shite no matter how bad a job they've made of it so far.

Maybe, just fucking MAYBE they're sacking him because Benitez finished 7th - fucking 7th! And they want somebody in who can actually do the job of managing a team to at least its potential. Not badly underachieving.

You're always wrong. Doesn't it bore you?
I don't fucking 'not think about it' I already said I don't fucking care. If they want to leave they can leave.
And what you are failing to acknowledge with your mad womans piss, repetetive, spurious, nonsensical, inane drivel, the one thing you always forget or fail to notice is that your fucking hero manager is totally fucking shit. He has been almost exclusively shit in the time he's been here. 6 years of almost wall to wall never ending shit.
He's inept. A fucking chancer who lost NINETEEN fucking games in a season, he would have been sacked a long time ago at any other team in any other top 4 in any other fucking league in Europe.
So ultimately he's paying the price for being shit and being sacked.
And inside Rebel, inside I'm fucking dancing.
