Right, he holds the ball for far too long, tries to many clumsy pointless long balls, insists on trying to take on players when he doesn't need to, slows the play down taking far too many touches, and worse for all for me, he plays as if he's to main man, like he's the team, he'll always try to do things on his own, he'll take the ball off of other peoples toes, I just hate watching him play.

I really don't get it either. He created most of our chances (as usual) kept possession better than most. Shelvey, who isn't receiving anything like the criticism, was complete bollocks.
Because I usually watch reserve games. So I can't give "Gary" a comparison between Robinson's latest performance and how he usually plays for the reserves/U18s.
Shelvey, for me, was the most disappointing thing about tonight. Adam wasnt great but fucking hell, he gets some over the top, and uncalled for, abuse here.
Henderson did some good things but mostly you just wouldnt notice he was there.
Borini's movement was great but, worryingly, his finishing looks suspect,
Allen looked a class act and chnged the game when he came on.
None of the back four looked good individually, but as a unit they looked comfortable.
Raheem was MOM.

Borini suffered two awful offside decisions that would have left him 1 on 1 with the keeper.
Not sure what game you watched - but as usual, Adam made poor decisions when attacking (ex: We had a 4 on 3 break and instead of a pass out wide to Raheem, he goes for the 30 yard shot which the keeper made a meal out of). He had some nice touches (the move off the corner was excellent, and a nice cut into the middle of the pitch from the left side which got him a decent shot off target) - but to try and compare him to a 19 year old who had a very poor game only highlights how average he was. Allen in 20 minutes on the pitch look ten times the player he was ... If we get Sahin, he's at best 5th in our midfield. Not good enough.
They weren't even 'that' close - he was on the line both times ... BUT let's be positive, those are the runs we WANT our striker to make and that will give him those 1 on 1s in future games.
I suppose we should thank the linesman for stopping our chance conversion rate going lower.

Should have finished the 1st one ... but the 2nd one from Henderson's pass was not that easy, I would have been happy if he had made contact and put it on target ... I think he'll be fine - (hope?)

perhaps - who knows but he was there at the ground and official line was the hamstring problem.
Dunno, but apparently he's been abducted. Some say this is the same as being sold.
