[article]A lot of Liverpool’s business over the last few years has focused on strengthening the next generation of first-teamers, with the likes of Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg brought in before turning 18.
And now another name appears to be on the club’s shopping list, this time before even playing a senior game.
That player is Nick Breitenbucher, currently on the books of Roberto Firmino’s former club Hoffenheim.
Breitenbucher scored 13 goals in 16 games for Hoffenheim’s under-17 side in the 2019/20 season, including four in an 8-1 win over Frankfurt back in September.
And now, according to the Guardian, Liverpool and Chelsea are two of the teams interested in coaxing the 17-year-old away from Germany.
He wouldn’t be the only German in the Reds’ academy, with teenage striker Paul Glatzel having committed his long-term future to the club earlier this season.[/article]
I think it's probably an EU right to forget thing. There were some rumours he broke a few laws whilst at Freiburg. If you Google with a VPN on you might have more luck
Maybe you have a point here.
The circumstances of his departure at Freiburg are still quite 'unclear'. His brother-in-law/agent's alleged connections to the Spanish honoured society are supposed to having played a heavy role for his trial at Hercules Alicante where he impressed so much. This seems to be the point where he got his career back on track and later signed for Anderlecht then.
Thanks Holle.
I didn't want to say anything too specific as the EU can prosecute Forum owners who allow their posters to break the Right to be Forgotten act. Hopefully you haven't given too much away.
Does this explain why Modo hasn't found him yet ?I don't think so.
I mean, this information is available to anyone with rudimentary abilities in internet research.

Information on his time at Legia, which is called 'The Zubrowka Years' by some, is much harder to find. At that time he had close connections to the legendary former Ukrainian Welterweight Gennadi Ponomarenko (maybe @rurikbird can confirm this?)and - believe it or not - to Hans-Joachim Hagenbruch. Yes, THE Hagenbruch. Parties of unprecedented scale are said to have taken place in Warsaw's legendary 'Dzik' club.
Fuck, that was a rabbit hole I didn't want to go down. He is was also behind the german cult/underground classic during his time at Freiburg.
Zwei Mädchen, Eine Tasse.
One was his now estranged wife.
No surprises he's keeping a low profile.
No, I just filed a missing persons report with the German police.
I think thats actually a scene from Cars 2I didn't know that. I mean, he has various talents but I didn't know that he was into fine arts.
He never ceases to amaze me.
That reminds me of a story where Ernst visited a F1 Grand Prix in Japan on invitation by Swiss entrepreneur Urs Sturzenegger, the 'Mustard King'. It's about sake, chicken drumsticks and a one-legged prostitute.
The rest is history, as they say.
I mean he's good.. creative, fantastic passer of the ball. The likes we haven't seen since Xabi.don't understand why we're spending money on him imo ...
Would be a moneyball signing, but not the area we need to strengthen.
Is he any good H?
He's in his late 20s ... I don't think this is a signing makes sense.
He's a brilliant player. Klopp usually raves about him when he talks about Bayern. But as others have said it smells of BS.
29 years old and have one year left on his contract, so it has that agent talk to drum up interest for a new deal feel about it.
But he's a fantastic player, and probably one of my favourite players to watch besides our own. Everything he does seems easy and he makes the midfield tick. Would love to sign him even if it meant we're a bit stocked in midfield.

Well, word on the street is that:
(1) Bayern has already offered Thiago a new contract, and he has turned them down;
(2) Thiago wants to play in the PL. He was desperate to join Man Utd after Barca, but Moyes turned it down;
(3) Liverpool are champions of England and apparently play some kind of sexy football, and has the world's best manager?
The above has yet to be fully verified, but at least one of them is true!!
