I'll take the job.

I'll probably do a siht job but I will humbly only accept 10k pounds per week, and a bonus of 10k per win.

HIRE ME TAN

They'll probably hire a Malaysian version of Shebby Singh.

Isn't @King Binny from there? Should be within a shout.

I'm from Singapore. @Avmenon is though. One of the first names that was linked with the post was Yilmaz Vural. A Wiki search reveals that he "managed most of the clubs in the Turkish League, apart from the three giants which are Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray"

Doesn't seem to stay long at a club. Should suit Tan.

I've had drinking sessions that have lasted longer than some of those jobs.

Sorry, I thought it was like Hong Kong and China. I mean before the merger.
Aren't Singaporeans originally Malaysian?

Reque, avmenon and I are from Malaysia.
Depending on how far you wanna go., Singapore was part of Malaya. Then became a British straits settlement. Gained independence separately from Britain. Joined Malaya to form Malaysia and then was separated from Malaysia. Since then Singapore is a sovereign nation.

OK.
Anyway, I'm gonna be in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in February I'd appreciate it if you could recommend any places to visit/ sights/shops while in Malaysia that would nice. Preferable in a PM so we don't derail this topic any more than it already has.

He's meant to be a pretty good manager, MM, but he's transfer dealings look a right load of bollocks. Them players he spunked about 40mill on in the summer are garbage, and Cardiff dont have that sort of money to be throwing around, I'd be pissed if I was the owner (even though he's a nutter).
I'd guess that there's more chance of MM being at a premier league club next season, than there is Vincent Tan.

Seems a few of them weren't Mackays transfers. That Moody geezer was the one in charge of that i think

Everyone was up in arms when Adkins was sacked too.

Granted, Tan is a bit more on the mad side though.

Solskjaer is linked but he wont take that job.

Malky was told off in public because he wanted to add to the squad in January. Tan then said there were no funds.
But now, a new manager will apparantly have loads of funds.

Making them chane from blue to red was the first clue about how this would pan out.

Over here in sunny Singapore, Peter Lim wants to buy Valencia. If you don't know who Peter Lim is, he tried to buy Liverpool not too long ago.

3 wins in 17 games, isn't a great record.

It's better than that of at least three other teams in the Prem though, and that's all that can be expected from their first season at the top level for goodness knows how long. And one of those wins was over the Mancs.

[article=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2530177/EXCLUSIVE-Revealed-The-50m-deals-cost-Malky-Mackay-Cardiff-job.html#ixzz2olKFSULr ]Among the signings which angered Tan was Cornelius.

The 20-year-old striker left FC Copenhagen, where he earned £6,000 a week, to sign a five-year contract at Cardiff worth £45,000 a week.

Cardiff paid a club-record £7.668m, possibly rising to £10.93m based on appearances. But he has come on just seven times as a substitute and played only 87 minutes of football since his move from the Danish champions. He has yet to score.

When Tan expressed surprise at the salary being paid to the untested Cornelius, he sought to impose a wage limit on new recruits, including midfielder Gary Medel.

Sevilla, who finished ninth in La Liga last season but who were struggling financially, sold Medel to Cardiff for £10m — though sources in Spain suggested Sevilla valued him at nearer £6m. The fee could rise to £15m, on appearances.

The deal was agreed by Moody when Sevilla arrived in Manchester for Rio Ferdinand’s testimonial at Old Trafford on August 9.[/article]
