Kelleher has looked shite for Brentford. That makes me think this guy is an upgrade. I would like to see him come out quicker and be more dominant in that sense. Other than that I think he’s been quality.
He's a better shot stopper the irish Kevin and has strong wrists like Ali which again kelleher doesn't have.. Isn't the best with the ball at his feet but isn't the worst either and hopefully will improve in time..

He is getting better and better. Ali is a freak in mentality, stature and skill. I mean what GK
Scores a header in injury minute in a critical game. Mama is doing fine, he can get better and hopefully will get his chance too.

Yeah there won’t be another Ali. It’s insane that I feel shocked when he gets beaten on a 1 vs 1 situation. I’ve never seen another keeper have such ludicrous success rate in those situations.
We just have to accept that any goal keeper we have after him is just not going to be as good. But Marma is definitely a very good shot stopper, and just has to get coached in terms of dominance in the box for crosses/set pieces.

Good post. We'll eventually have to make the same adjustment from Best Ever to As Near As We Can Get when Virgil's time is up.

Consider this though. We brought those two to the club and started the new dynasty how? By selling Coutinho, who was brilliant for us. If these changes are well thought through and managed, a club can not only survive them but continue to thrive afterwards.

This was part of the reason why I could possibly have entertained selling Mo and/or Ali in the past couple seasons.

I am most certainly glad we have not sold Ali, as he has been absolutely critical to our ongoing success and is essentially irreplaceable.

But one day, he too will show the signs of decline that we are now seeing in Mo. Beyond the injuries, the performance itself too will degrade. Hopefully not for another couple seasons though.
