Didn’t know where to put this but an article from goalkeeper.com:
An insight into….
JESUS! No summary, no TLDR, NO BINNIFYING!
For those that thought it was soft or not a foul:
Ben Foster on Man City's disallowed goal at the weekend: "What I have to say is it’s a foul, it’s as simple as that, it’s a foul, and I’ll explain why. Until you’ve been a goalkeeper, until you’ve taken your feet off the ground and you have your eyes on that ball, and you’re putting your hands up there, the second somebody not even grabs your arm, and I mean this, if somebody gives you a little nudge in your waist, in your leg, anything, your body just moves.
I thought was a foul, still don’t get why there was so much discussion about. It’s written in the law, and unlike a few times this season, refs followed it.
There's so much discussion because the media love to ride it. It's their whipping boy. You can see the disappointment on their faces whenever there is nothing contentious and they actually have to try and dissect the match.I thought was a foul, still don’t get why there was so much discussion about.
