I though Dowd was dire. Every time we gave a free away he seemed ready to give a yellow. His performance on the Mirallis "tackle" on Suarez was disgraceful. How could he see that assault and consider it only wanting a yellow?

Good question. He marked Distin from corners and Lukaku from indirect freekicks seemingly. Very weird. Johnson also marked Lukaku first half from a corner, looked a managerial decision. It was weird.
