Manager of the year?

Who do you think wins manager of the year in the EPL?

Winning the league in his first season should seal it for Slot and IMO that's what will happen. Some above are saying the award is likely to go to an underdog, but I'm not sure its history backs up that view. Nuno's worked wonders with Forest though and IMO would be a worthy winner too.

This poll is going to look a little stupid when Forest fall outside the top 4.....maybe top 5. Queue everyone rushing to change their votes.

Christ, you are insufferable...

Many tipped Forest to go down, but they're pushing hard for a top 4/5 spot and they're in the Cup semi-finals... That is a remarkable achievement, and sooooooooooooo very much more than expected of them.

We, on the other hand, finished 3rd last year, having been challengers / winners for 5 of the past 6 seasons. Our improvement, though unexpected and wonderful, is nowhere near as big and astounding as that of Forest. Slot's taken a really good team, tweaks them and made us a little better - We're not nearly the surprise that they are.

Hence so many of us thinking Nuno may well win it. It's not really that hard to understand.

He would still deserve it. Incredible season.
Nah.

Finishing in the CL places would be incredible, massive difference to that and dropping out which I expect will happen, wouldn't have deserved shit then.

Emery took a 17th place Villa into the CL and never got near no awards, Howe took a 15th place Newcastle into the CL and not near no awards. Rodgers took a mid table Leicester side to 5th and an FA cup win and got near no awards.

Slot's achieved the single hardest accomplishment there is to achieve in a season.....win it, there can only be 1. No backing and with a squad of players many think need replacing. This is the reason why he WILL win the EPL manager of the year.

There’s a lot still at play.

Slot could win it, If Arsenal win the CL, Lego head will be in with a shout, Nuno’s star will fading they don’t get top 4, but an FA Cup final would help,@.

Howe might be a dark horse if Newcastle get up to 3rd (maybe even 2nd if Arsenal keep drawing).

Personally though, I have to say that Amorim has exceeded my expectations - I didn’t think anyone could take Ten Hag’s team and make it even worse - but there he is doing his damnedest to get Utd to 17th and below Wolves - it’s an astonishing bit of work showing utter commitment to the lowest quality and he should be knighted for his service.

Can’t compare Forest to Villa or Newcastle. Context is important. Also don’t see them dropping down to 6th either tbh but let’s see.

Would love Slot to win it.

I should be Slot, but it probably won't be because everyone's a bit bored of the fact we're gonna win the league now, these awards are always about timing.

That was kinda the point of the post.
We all want Slot to win it, so I don't understand the arguments.
