Tickets are on general sale still for Borussia Dortmund friendly on August 10th. £20-£25.

Should be decent.

Just reading through this.

Am I reading this right that you must have attended one of the European games in 2012/13 to be able to sign up for Champions League tickets? Shame, I really want to get to one.

Yep, it was this morning. You had to have 4 games registered on your card. Still plenty of tickets left so they might drop down the requirement to two games. I'm not sure if it'll drop to zero.

Damn, I really hope it does. Would absolutely love to go the a Champions League night, it's kind of hard being a newcomer trying to get to Anfield!

Optimistic thinking CL will go to General Sale in our first season back in it!

Well, member sales with no previous games, but yeh. I assumed there might be a least a few tickets available for those who have no European games on their card.

Fantastic if there are though, think I will be in the same boat! Its a shame in a way we aren't in the qualifiers as that would give more opportunities too.

Fingers crossed, it's a shame really, because then there's no way for newcomers to get in. I really hope at least some make it through, I don't care if it's against FC Barnshack, any would do. Maybe if we qualify early in the group (nothing like optimism huh?) people will be less interested and some will be available to snap up.

First batch of matches moved for TV.

[article=http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/166318-10-reds-fixtures-rearranged-for-tv]Liverpool's opening six matches of the 2014-15 Barclays Premier League season, and a total of 10 before December, have today been rescheduled for television coverage.

The Reds will now officially kick off their campaign on Sunday August 17, when Southampton visit Anfield for a 1.30pm BST fixture that will be broadcast by Sky Sports.

Subsequent journeys to Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will be shown on the same channel, on Monday August 25 at 8pm and Sunday August 31 at 1.30pm respectively.

The home clash with Aston Villa remains on Saturday September 13, though kick-off is now 5.30pm on Sky Sports, who will then televise the trip to West Ham United at 5.30pm on Saturday September 20.

Liverpool debut on BT Sport in the first Merseyside derby of the season; Brendan Rodgers' side host Everton on Saturday September 27, with kick-off scheduled for 12.45pm.

Sky Sports will screen the Reds' away fixture at Queens Park Rangers, which has been moved to a 1.30pm start on Sunday October 19.

On Saturday November 1, BT Sport broadcast the clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park. Kick-off has been rearranged for 12.45pm. A week later, Saturday November 8, the same channel will show Liverpool at home to Chelsea with the same kick-off time.

Finally, Rodgers' charges will feature on Sky Sports when they meet Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. That match now begins at 1.30pm on Sunday November 23.

Please note that the fixtures against Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace are subject to change, depending on Champions League commitments.[/article]

So, raising again a question Mystic asked and ILD answered - but with 3 weeks passing and sale already underway, I'll ask again:

What are the odds of a new member managing to buy a couple of tickets for the WBA home game?
A friend of mine is planning to fly for this game and considers becoming a member just for buying a ticket for this game. Any thoughts?

Tickets for the WBA game go on sale tomorrow for members with no credits from last season, so will your friends membership go through in time for tomorrow morning? If yes then should have a decent chance.

I got 2 tickets for the Hull game this morning. Queued on the site for about half an hour. It showed as sold out after about an hour and 15 mins.

He'll have to buy the membership and you'll have to link your accounts ASAP, that may be difficult with the site under heavy load at the moment with the category C games.

I managed to get four tickets for Liverpool vs Hull this morning, very happy!

Cheers everybody.
So if he buys his membership online today will he not be able to use it for buying the tickets tomorrow?
Can he buy the membership 24 hours or are there limited office hours for buying the membership?

There is an FAQ on the members section:
[article=http://help.liverpoolfc.tv/app/answers/list/p/15,1037]Can I purchase Members Tickets immediately after purchasing LFC Official Membership?
To gain access to tickets made available to Members, Membership needs to be purchased 24 hours before ticket purchase is attempted.[/article]

Cheers. Was on a hurry so didn't check that section.
Might be worth giving it a go if you'll be going for tickets later in the season anyway. You might get lucky and it processes faster than the 24 hours.

@jimmy he can try purchase on my tickets. Pm me for login details. Save him buying memberships for one off game.

@ILD that's very kind of you mate!
I'll let him know, though I'm not sure how you'll pass your card to him...

Im going to the Southampton game. If he was successful in the sale I could leave cards with one of the local match goers. It would save him paying for membership cards.

I'll pass the info to him. Really appreciate your will to help!

BTW, there were recent talks of stewards verifying the identity of the card holder and even taking the card.
Have you heard of such cases?
I'd hate it if your card was taken from my friend!

@ILD, I believe he needs two tickets (he's taking his son).
Any chance you can get one more membership card besides yours? (I still have to talk to him as I'm in a meeting currently)

Did you get tickets for the Southampton game?

@ILD - just wanted to thank you for your will to help my friend and kindly offer him to use your membership!
This was very kind very kind of you, and although he eventually managed to get membership card of another friend of his, both he and I are grateful to you and really appreciate your offer!
