all the excitement about 'possibly one of the best ties ever' is laughable now. turns out that arsenal, and their overlapping fullbacks, are the perfect cannon fodder for barcelona.

Barca are great side. Messi a wonderful, wondferful player.

It's just a shame that they have to get absolutely EVERYTHING at home. It's hard enough playing against 11 of them.

the great thing is messi works hard for the team, doesn't have a massive ego and doesn't go on mazy runs for the sae of mazy runs. i.e. everything ronaldo isn't. a worthy successor for world's greatest player.

Messi is by a country mile the best player in the world at the moment. Fantastic!

But for all the hype young Lionel gets, fuck me what a great player Xavi is, easily my favourite non Liverpool player.
Footballing brain out of this world, passing ability like no other and an engine thats always running. Excellent player.

Rooney is a fantastic player, but he doesn't come close to some of the technical skills Messi has. And those sprints of great speed where he just glides past players. Kin'll!!
