Vermaelen looks every inch a top player. Granted this is only the 4th time ive seen him, but hes got everything.
I always think with these players from a lesser league a lot of the battle is in trying to believe in themselves and often they fail but go on to be perfectly good footballers and we often dont see the best of them as they affect their best 'rabbit in headlights' whilst here.
This lad doesnt look for a second like he doesnt believe hes good enough or indeed that hes lucky to be here.
He looks very confident and capable.......hes no Krygiakos o'course.
